Welcome to
Basildon Hospital
Nursery School

Basildon Hospital Nursery School prides itself on delivering outstanding care and education tailored to meet each individual child's needs in our care.

Basildon Hospital Nursery serves NHS employees as well as the wider local community and is a small purpose built setting based within the grounds of Basildon Hospital.

The nursery operates from 3 homebase rooms which are tailored to give the children the very best opportunities to explore, learn and develop in a safe and stimulating environment. We are fortunate to have two outdoor classrooms which are accessible directly from the home base rooms. Both gardens allow the children to explore the natural environments with trees, planting beds and digging areas for the children to experience at their fingertips.  Basildon Hospital offers a intimate and well resourced learning environment for the children to grow and develop whilst being supported by a highly qualified and experienced team.

In July 2014 we were judged Outstanding by Ofsted and pride ourselves in reflecting this in everything that we do. Our experienced and passionate team are dedicated to working closely with our families to ensure the very best outcomes for each child.  We were awarded Education Business of the Year at the Education Investor Awards 2015.  Please see the 'Care and Education' tab to find out more.

Please do not hesitate to contact us on 01268 464 422 from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday with any queries you may have, and we would love for you to visit us at our Outstanding Basildon Hospital Nursery School.

What Parents Have Said About Basildon Hospital

We have always been, and remain confident that when we leave our daughter at Basildon Hopsital Nursery she receives the highest level of care and pre-school education available. We would have no hesitation recommending Seymour House to any friends seeking high quality childcare.

What Ofsted say about us

Teaching is excellent as staff are extremely focused on meeting children's individual needs. This means that all children make significant progress in all seven areas of learning. Children are exceptionally content and happy as they enjoy the secure affectionate attachments they have formed with their key person.
