Broomfield Hospital
Nursery School

Our Broomfield Hospital Day Nursery School, Chelmsford, serves the families of NHS employees as well as the local community.

Broomfield Hospital Nursery in Chelmsford is situated within the converted coach house of the Edwardian Mansion that was once home to the Nash Family.  Broomfield Hospital Nursery operates out of 5 Home Base rooms and has a newly refurbished garden provided a combination of outstanding resources as well as the natural woodland which allows children to explore, investigate and learn.

Being inside the Broomfield Hospital ground the nursery also forms a part of the Mid Essex Hospital Trust community and we support working parents at the hospital as well as the local Broomfield area. Our qualified team are passionate to work in partnership with parents to provide outstanding care and education to our children.

We were inspected by Ofsted in 2014 and judged to be outstanding in all areas. We were awarded Education Business of the Year at the Education Investor Awards 2015.  Please see the 'Care and Education' tab to find out more.

What Parents Have Said About Broomfield Hospital

You have really helped my transition back to work.  My daughter loves going to Broomfield Hospital Nursery to do activities I would never dream of doing at home.  She has formed a strong bond with Natalie and Lisa who she loves to see each day.  Thank you to the whole team for providing such a fantastic and valuable service.
