A Career in Early Years
A career in early years is rewarding, enjoyable and profoundly important. Our outstanding nursery practitioners have shared what they enjoy most about working at Seymour House Day Nursery Schools.
"I love that I work for a company so passionate about supporting the development of children."
"There are many opportunities for personal career development, and I know that I can have a positive impact on the shape of the early years provision."
"I enjoy working with key children and their families and nuturing the children to grow and develop."
"Working with other passionate team members to give children the best opportunities every day is truly inspiring."
Our future success depends on our ability to continue to recruit and retain the best people and to provide the training and support that enables each member of our team to perform to their full potential. Our aim is to maintain a team that is 100% qualified to at least Level 3 with practice lead by a graduate Early Years Teacher. We offer clearly defined learning pathways where individuals progress from induction, through core training and on to a senior practitioner or management pathway if they wish to pursue those options.
Training and Development
Your development is very important to us and you will receive a wealth of learning and development throughout your career. Because we want to be the best at what we do, your learning and development will not only make sure you have the skills and confidence to do your job well and deliver an outstanding quality service but will also give you plenty of opportunities to grow along the way. All team members are actively encouraged to continually review their practice and learning and update their continuous professional development records.
