Fees & Funding

We understand the strains on young families. It can be a difficult to find the time to work out the best and most efficient way to fund your childcare. Choosing which combination of child tax credits, free entitlement, salary sacrifice or child care vouchers can be daunting, so we have made it clear below, so you can spend as much time enjoying your little one as possible.
Nursery Education Grant
All three and four year olds are eligible for 15 hours of state funded nursery education per week over thirty-eight weeks of the year from the beginning of the term after their first birthday.
Parents who seek integrated care and education can access this funding at Seymour House, and the value will automatically be deducted from their fees. more information
Tax Credits
Nine out of ten families are eligible for Child Tax Credit. The benefit is based around the family's circumstances, dependent on your income as well as various other factors. more information
Childcare Grant
Full time students with dependent children may be eligible for a Childcare Grant. The amount will depend on their income and will not erode into other benefits. more information
Save on Tax and National Insurance
Direct payment of childcare cost by employers or via childcare vouchers are exempt from income tax and NI up to a maximum of £243 per month (2009/2010). This saves employees between £18 and £46 per week, depending on their tax rate. Parents can ask for part of their salary to be sacrificed in return for direct payment of childcare vouchers whilst the employer will save on Employers National Insurance too. more information
