Hello, I'm Adele Spence

I am the Nursery Manager of Salcott Crescent Nursery, Wickford.

I have worked for Seymour House for over 4 years. During this time I have progressed from a newly qualified practitioner to a Nursery Manager of our Ford Dunton Nursery.  I have now transferred to our outstanding Salcott Crescent Nursery where I support the team and families in my Nursery Manager role.

The nursery team are warm, friendly and approachable and strive to ensure all the children are treated individually with love and care ensuring their development needs are met and adequate support is given.  I am confident that we provide a great service to our children and their parents.

I would like to welcome you to come and look round our recently judged outstanding setting and meet the extremely friendly and passionate team. Seymour House gives every individual child the best possible start, by ensuring they are nurtured and making the environment safe and stimulating.

Hello, I'm Vicky Patience

I am the Head of Early Years Practice at Salcott Crescent Nursery, Wickford.

I have worked for Seymour House for over a year now. I originally joined one of our Chelmsford nurseries as an Early Years Educator and progressed to the role of Senior Early Years Educator there. I then moved over to Wickford as the Head of Early Years Practice where I support the team in delivering outstanding care and education to the children and families.

After studying away for 3 years to obtain my BA (Hons) Education and Childhood Studies I returned to Essex with the hope of working for Seymour House. After working with the company for a few months I enrolled on the Masters Early Childhood degree course with Anglia Ruskin and am currently entering my final year. Continuing my studying allows me to reflect on current developments within early childhood education which in turn supports the driving up of standards within our nursery.
