At Seymour House we offer a comprehensive Apprenticeship Programme, training the very best individuals and encouraging those with a passion for childcare to undertake their Level 3 in Childcare. The Apprenticeship Programme is a structured qualification programme providing hands-on experience within the nursery setting, alongside gaining a recognised qualification.
Our fantastic apprentices are given experienced and dedicated mentors within their rooms, alongside the guidance of a Head of Early Years Practice, enabling them to feel fully integrated within the team. At Seymour House we have a community network of both current and previous apprentices who provide support, learning and guidance. At the end of an apprenticeship, there are also excellent career prospects, and ability to further develop.

"Whilst working as Relief Team for Seymour House, I was offered the opportunity to complete my Level 3 qualification as a part of an apprenticeship. I have now completed my qualifications and am a full time team member of the Basildon Hospital Nursery.
I love everything about my job, it's hard to say what it is that I enjoy the most. Apart from no two days ever being the same, I also love being a part of the children’s lives. Being able to have an influence on their learning and development, helping them to build the foundation for their future and seeing them grow and develop is an amazing feeling. Being an early years educator is very rewarding and the relationships that develop between yourself and the children in indescribable.
Since completing my apprenticeship I have progressed to a Senior Early Years Educator role and am beginning to look at completing an Early Years degree."
